Almond and Fig Gourmet Appetizer Toast
Discover our irresistible Almond and Fig toast! Inspired by the famous croquet de Provence, this original recipe reinvents the pleasure of apéritifs!
A delicious blend of almond and fig in this crunchy biscuit recipe. In each toast, you'll discover generous pieces of fig and almond. This appetizer biscuit has been meticulously developed by our teams to pair perfectly with cheese, a combination of sweetness enhanced by a fruity note. This delicious biscuit also pairs wonderfully with foie gras, as this fruit is a famous partner for duck.
Which cheese to serve with these toasts?
Our almond and fig appetizer toasts have been developed to pair wonderfully with aged hard cheeses (Comté, extra-old Mimolette, sheep's milk Tomme...) or, on the contrary, fresh, slightly tangy cheeses like mozzarella or feta.
Drink idea with almond and fig cheese toasts
To accompany your apéritif and delight your guests' taste buds, the drink will also play a crucial role. For everything to be perfect, pair your firm-textured cheese toasts with a light and fruity wine, such as a Muscat. For feta or mozzarella, opt for a Provençal red wine.
You now have the wine and cheese to serve with our toasts, enough to delight your guests.
A cheese toast full of originality, with a mix of almond and date
An original biscuit made with almond and date, born from a recipe developed by us in our factory in the South-East of France.
To create an exquisite product, we incorporated the fruits into the dough during manufacturing. Thus, with every crunchy bite, you will experience an explosion of flavors.
A rich and flavorful recipe designed to be combined with delicious cheeses and impress your guests.
Cheese Suggestions that pair beautifully with Date Toasts
For a perfect toast, prefer fresh, unaged cheeses, whether creamy or foamy (fresh goat cheese, ricotta, cottage cheese...) or, on the contrary, soft cheeses like Brie or Camembert.
Tips for a neat presentation of toasts and their cheese
Two options are available for a beautiful presentation! You can create a superb cheese board using the cheeses recommended above, which you will garnish with date toasts and some fruit for an elegant decoration. Your guests can then make their own tartines and enjoy them!
Alternatively, if you prefer to prepare in advance, generously spread a spoonful of cheese on the toasts, arrange them on a pretty dish, decorate your toasts with a little chives, and you will have a magnificent plate!
Almond and Apricot Appetizer Toast: for lovers of sweet and savory flavors
Opt for our apricot and almond toasts to delight your guests. A recipe with summer flavors that transports us to the heart of the South of France. Composed of 15% apricot and 10% almond, these toasts offer an exquisite marriage of flavors.
With each bite, a crunchy and fruity sensation! They are like the small dry breads that we love to enjoy with a beautiful cheese board to share.
Tasting ideas for these small appetizer toasts
To fully enjoy the toasts, it is important to make a thoughtful choice of accompaniment to obtain the most original and gourmet aperitif possible. Prefer with your dry biscuits creamy and blue cheeses (Bleu d'Auvergne, Roquefort, Stilton...) or, on the contrary, a goat cheese enhanced with a touch of honey.
Here are the perfect cheese pairings to accompany our 3 toasts, which we hope will tempt you. Whether for any occasion: a party with friends, Valentine's Day, New Year's Eve, Easter, or other celebrations, they will be the perfect asset to serve at your aperitif.
