At this apiary, you will be delighted by the variety of honeys and their unique flavors, including lavender, garrigue, wildflowers, and many more.
The family-run operation has been carrying on the beekeeping tradition for several generations. The honeys are classified according to the different regions where the bees forage. In spring, the hives are placed in Isère to capture the delicate acacia nectar. In Ardèche, the bees collect the bitter nectar of the chestnut tree. Finally, in Drôme, the bees produce lavender honey with enchanting flavors, as well as garrigue honey with wild aromas. Each honey is unique, reflecting the terroirs where it was born.
Rucher Vahé’s lavender honey is the result of the meticulous work of the bees, which gather nectar from lavender flowers. Thanks to environmentally respectful beekeeping methods, the purity and aromatic richness of the honey are preserved. Each jar of lavender honey is the outcome of a natural process, with no additives or alterations.
Appreciated for its sweetness and creamy texture, lavender honey can be enjoyed in many ways. It is delicious spread on a slice of fresh bread, added to a cup of hot tea for natural sweetness, or used as a subtle ingredient in various recipes. Its delicate flavor also pairs perfectly with mild cheeses or yogurts, creating a harmonious blend of tastes.
