Bulk Vinsobres Croquettes

La Biscuiterie de Provence has developed the Croquettes de Vinsobres in bulk to share them with as many people as possible and to introduce our Provençal regional products.
Discover a small traditional biscuit from the Drôme Provençale that contains more than 20% almond, only five ingredients, and that generously crunches under the tooth. A biscuit shaped like an oval slice, slightly browned on top, light and wonderfully compact inside.

Enjoyed with savory or sweet dishes, this crunchy almond biscuit pairs with a multitude of foods. Traditionally dipped in a glass of red wine, the Croquettes de Vinsobres also wonderfully accompany sweet and sparkling wines. Taste these lightly sweetened small biscuits with a Sauternes, of course, but why not with a Muscat from Rasteau or Beaumes de Venise nearby? Or with a sparkling wine (champagne, of course, but also a Clairette de Die from the Drôme!). They are perfect for tea or coffee time and brighten up appetizers and desserts. It was in 1908 that this biscuit became part of the Provençal tradition thanks to Henri Chauvet, a baker from the village of Vinsobres, who created the Croquettes de Vinsobres. For over a century, this small crunchy almond biscuit has been made using the same method. It is traditionally enjoyed during good meals to end the moment of pleasure on a sweet note.
